Re: How do I set limits with my son?

Elliott seems to go through phases of nursing more and then less. He still wakes up in the middle of the night to nurse and still nurses once to twice in the mornings before getting up. He'll be 2...

    Re: Losing milk

You can't judge how much you make by how much you pump. Just keep nursing. The more you nurse, ther more you will make.

Re: What's the deal with MY weight?

    My doctor confirmed this.

I've only lost 20 pounds in the past year but still have 30 to lose! It's not going anywhere no matter what I eat or how much I work-out! :shrug:o

Re: Poor latch at age one

:hello My baby is 12 months. We've been through this!

I had to buy nipple butter because of the little sores from his clamping down. It was worse on the right side so we started nursing in a...

    It's gonna get better!

As a mommy who's been nursing for a year now, I can relate to having dips in supply. I started my period when my baby was just 16 weeks old, and was saddened and discouraged more than a few times...

    Re: Why's he switching sides?

Elliott does the same thing. Eventually he gets serious on one side or the other. Otherwise, I think he's not really in the mood to nurse, so I'll put them away and then, he cries. So, back out they...

Re: coconut milk for eight month old?

I would question it because it's a tree nut.

Re: Is gerber food so bad?

Organic jar-foods don't use citric acid, and don't package baby food in non BPA-free plastics. Gerber does both.

I did jared and fresh. I used frozen too.

Re: Problems with DH, what should I do?

    I agree.

My husband is nothing but 100% supportive and loving and respects that we will nurse until Elliott decides it's time to stop.

Re: Problems with DH, what should I do?

I am simply baffled that any of these husbands think they have any right to make this decision for mommy and baby.

  19. Poll: Do yu feed your baby 100% certified organic foods?

    100% of the time?

I'm curious what other mothers do. I can't afford to buy all organic but I'm conscientious about the cleanliness of fruits and vegetables and certain fruits that are more heavily...
  20. Re: How often does your 8 month old nurse?

Elliott eats solids breakfast, lunch and dinner and breastfeeds around 6-8 times a day. Three to four during the day and three to four throughout the night and early morning.

Elliott's routine sounds the same as you described. We also co-sleep although he goes down in his crib, awakens to nurse at 10pm, then goes back down in crib until between 12-2am. After that, he...
