  1. Re: advice on how to co-sleep/breast feed at night

DS is 5MO now and still needs slight guidance to latch on. I just use my finger to guide him in and I'm back asleep quickly. I often will wake up and he is just snuggled next to me with my shirt...

    Re: gaining too much?

That sounds perfectly normal. My DS had a similar weight gain and is perfectly healthy and we have always fed on demand. You know what is best for your baby!

    Re: very gassy lil man

Mylicon then tummy time always seem to help my LO. Often he will burp and pass gas at the same time then feel much better. :lol
  4. Re: Juggling work and breastfeeding

Just make sure you pump right before and right after work as well. It shouldn't be a problem if you continue to nurse on demand at night.

    Re: baby bling?

Can you please send this to me too? I've been searching online for one as DS is so busy when he nurses now! Thanks!
  6. Re: Juggling work and breastfeeding

    Here is my schedule:

Up at 5:35, nurse for about 10-15 minutes because we are both sleepy!
Give DS to DH or grandma, whoever is watching him that day, I get ready.
    Leave by 6:15.
    Pump at work...

    Re: BLS earlier than 6MO?

Thank you! I know this is huge growth spurt time, I just wondered if sometimes it really does coincide with being ready for solids.

    BLS earlier than 6MO?

    Hello,

DS is 16 weeks this week. I know he is going through a growth spurt because he is nursing every 2 hours around the clock. I assume he eating around 30 ounces a day based on what i'm able to...
  10. Re: Pacifiers for baby who just wants to suck and not 'eat'?

DS is 3MO and has always preferred the MAM pacifiers, it's the only kind he can keep in his mouth, he also is a comfort sucker and uses his on occasion to fall back asleep without nursing. Usually it...

Re: baby with a rumbling stomach

Have you tried simethicone drops, like Mylicon? (Gas relief) My almost 4MO had this same problem and on nights when it got really bad I would give him the dose before nursing back to sleep and it...

Re: Should I introduce a bottle?

I had DH introduce a bottle around 2 weeks because I knew I was going back to work. DS didn't have problem taking the bottle, I just made sure it was slow-flow nipple. He still prefers breast over...

    Re: What's the norm???

My DS is almost 4MO, he wakes up to nurse every 2.5-4 hours depending on the night. It used to be every 1.5 hours. I think what got him to go longer was I pumped and gave him BM in a bottle (4oz) for...

    Re: teething?

I thought the same thing with my DS at about 12 weeks but it wasn't teething. He could be teething, but more likely your LO is about to start putting things in his mouth (rattles, etc.). The drool is...

Thank you! That's good to know, he does get out in a sun a little bit each day so I will not give him vitamins now.

    Re: Caffeine Sensitivity

  19. Re: Transition from Co-Sleeping to Crib

Thank you! It's nice to know other DH have this arraingement! I think DS notices the difference in the mattress. Is that possible at 3MO? I'm not sure if the crib would even fit in there (small...
  20. Re: Transition from Co-Sleeping to Crib

I like the idea of a bed rail, I hadn't thought of that. DH is a heavy sleeper, but I am a very light sleeper and still wake up at the slightest noise from DS, even his sleep noises.

    Do they make...
  21. Transition from Co-Sleeping to Crib

    Hello!

DS is now 3MO and a healthy 16lbs! We have been EBF since day one and I have found co-sleeping to be a lifesaver, DS wouldn't go down anywhere and hated laying on his back. Around week 2, I...
