    Thank you! What great suggestions! And I never even considered other forms of dairy. DD loves cheese and yogurt and eats them all the time. So that is an acceptable substitution for cow's milk?

    If you're certain it's not thrush, I'd try a tiny bit of bacitracin after nursing/pumping (just plain old bacitracin, not triple antibiotic ointment). It will help if there's any infection.
