  1. Re: 4 month old suddenly resists bottle at daycare

I think this is just something some babies go through in the early stages of teething. My LO is back to doing well with the bottle.
  2. Re: 4 month old suddenly resists bottle at daycare

As you can see from my pp, I had the exact problems you are having. Jada is almost back to having 10-12 oz per day on a regular basis.

I think they eat a little less as they get older.

    Hang...

Re: how long do YOU keep bm in fridge?

My DD does fine with frozen milk. What I pump today is used at DC tomorrow so Friday is the only day I freeze.
  5. Re: OHMYGOODNESS!!!! How do I approach this tactfully?

My Lo just turned 4 months and the daycare said according to the federal food program, baby should be eating solids. I had my dr provide a note for them NOT to feed baby solids until I tell them to....

Re: First Day back as Well Today

I know how you feel and the only thing I can tell you is put your feelings aside while you are at work. When I returned after six weeks maternity leave, I was pretty much useless. I thought about...
  7. Re: 4 month old suddenly resists bottle at daycare

She is still having latch problems with the bottles. She did eat 10 oz yesterday which is 2 oz more than this week and last week.

Doc said they like to chew (or play) with the nipple when they...
  8. Re: 4 month old suddenly resists bottle at daycare

I'm glad he is doing better.

My ped didn't seem to be concerned that Jada is only having 8oz at DC since she is at the 95th percentile on weight. Doc said at this age they start teething (very...

Re: HELP! returned to work having problem

I'm glad it is going better. I still have days (like today) when I can only get 3oz per session.

Can I ask how insurance paid for the pump? I never thought of something like that! I have the...

Re: HELP! returned to work having problem

Hang in there, it will get better. I think this may be typical for the age. My DD seemed to nurse constantly around 5 wo and my friend's daughter did the same thing and had the fussiness.

    What...
  12. Re: 4 month old suddenly resists bottle at daycare

I'll definitely let you know what the dr. says. The playtex bottle was no better.

I sent stage 2 nipples with her today. I'll let you know if they work any better. I'm concerned that the milk...
  13. Re: 4 month old suddenly resists bottle at daycare

I was about to ask this question!! My daughter is also 4 months and is down to taking only 8 oz while at dc (used to have 12 oz) and I'm away from her 11 hours a day. I'm becoming quite worried and...

Congratulations on making it this far! I felt the same as you early on but got through the tough times and happy I did.

I am at 4 months and so happy I got through the soreness and exhaustion. ...

    Re: Rash Under Boob

Does hot water damage them because of the elastic?? Never thought of that.

Thanks for the info, I can try the vinegar suggestion.

I love the rash free vibes!!!

I just ordered 3 online from JC Penny (free shipping and bras on sale). 5 will be much better than 2!

I heard underwires can decrease supply so I've stayed away...

    Re: Rash Under Boob

At least I have something to look forward too, right? :clap

I wonder if washing bras daily would help. I only have two nursing bras so I wear 2 days then wash (is that gross?).

    I was at my...

    Re: Rash Under Boob

It is nice to know I'm not the only person with this strange rash. I'm glad it isn't close to the nipple.

I tried the Monistat last night and I also went braless. No overnight leaking (maybe...

    Re: Introducing vitamins?

My LO is 4 months and ped says to give vitamins. I didn't mention to him that I still take prenatals. I gave them to her twice and she gagged both times so I stopped.

    Since she isn't on solids...

I was afraid of that. Someone in my office said the same thing. Is it possible to go without a bra without leaking? I'm going to try the monistat tonight.

    Thanks a bunch!

    Rash Under Boob

Sorry if this is TMI but I have this annoying itchy rash under my boob. The rash is splotchy and is in 3 or 4 spots just above where my bra goes. It doesn't help with it being so darn hot and...

    Re: Tomorrow is the day

Leaving baby to return to work is very difficult. I only had 6 weeks off and baby going to daycare the first day was the toughest thing I have ever done. I also cried several times.

    DD is now 15...
