  1. Re: 9 month old twins, how often? how much?

Also I'm curious to how much solids I should give them, in ratio to BM.
  2. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

Huh? SYP, could you please be a little more descriptive? I don't know what you are trying to say.

Also, JC. As of late I've been pumping a minimum of twice a day and nursing 'em before and after...
  3. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

Since MIL left for two weeks, things have been going TONS better. My plan, thus far, is to move out about two to three months after he is in Iraq. Hopefully by then I will have my license, as I will...
  4. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

do you have to nurse them at the same time? Majority of the time they would like to. My mentality is able, but not willing. If I have to I will nurse 'em at the same time.

    Can't you nurse one in...
  5. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

Do you have a sling you can nurse in? Yes, I have four but can only find three. Just can't get it so they are both feeding. I have two front carriers and one that I made myself. The kids tend to be...
  6. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

    Any advice?

Edit: I did pump today and got about a total of 5oz. For breakfast (which I normally have to either wait till around 10am [kids' nap time] or skip [mainly skip]) I had oatmeal, milk...
  7. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

"have you spoken with your MIL about your desire to increase your supply?" "Does your MIL work? Is she able to help you out so you can get some nursing/pumping sessions in? Are you taking any...
  8. Re: 9 month old twins, how often? how much?

I nurse 'em a minimum of twice a day. More so at night. Formula they get about two or three times a day.
  9. Re: 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

"How many times are you nursing each day? How much formula do your babies drink each day?"
Nursing, two times during the day. Will try more, but won't be for long. Amount of formula, I'd say at...
  10. 9 month old twins, how often? how much?

I'm trying to figure out how much and how often. My DD and DS seem to be very hard to feed, at least when I try. MIL seems to be able to get them to eat loads. Makes me feel like I'm starving my...
  11. 9 month old twins, mainly formula fed also on solids

I'm trying to nurse my two kids more. Mainly I'm trying to turn my life around but am not having a lot of success. I'm really stuck in a rut. As I have a mother-in-law who at first wanted me to go...

  14. Re: A list of things to do to increase supply

Just pull out the bottom lip, don't worry about the top lip that much. From what I hear, it doesn't matter that much. HTH and maybe someone with more info than I will be of more help.
  15. Re: A list of things to do to increase supply

mommylim - Sounds like your supply is fine. It's normal for an infant to want to eat every 2-3 hours. Plus pumping 3oz afterwards sounds to me like you really don't have to worry about your supply....

    Re: Milk safe for baby?

If it's from your breasts, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Even while your weaning, I think, it's still the same way as if you weren't. I mean your breasts that is.
