Re: Sad about thinking I have to stop B/F

You might try a day in bed. Both of you stripped down to as little as possible. Skin to skin contact stimulates you to make mil and her to want to nurse.

    Re: New baby problems

I just wanted to agree that feeding your baby by eyedropper, spoon or cup is the best course of action. It is easy for the babies to become"lazy" when givena bottle early as it requires far less...

    Re: decreased appetite?

If he seems content and is wetting and dirtying diapers and gaining, he should be fine. I would keep offering, he'll nurse when he needs to.

    Re: Need some support please

Your body will make just what your baby needs. Pumps are far less efficient than babies~they get more.

    Re: really discouraged!

Babies are far more efficient than pumps!! If you truly need to increase your supply try fenugreek tea(or capsules), drinking more water, and eating oatmeal.

    Re: really discouraged!

When you go back, you'll probably get much more at work. Your baby is tiny and may only drink two or three ounces per session. They don't take as many bottles as they would nurse. I planned for 3...

    Re: Too much frozen milk

You could also donate it to a milk bank. You can increase supply by pumping more often.

    Re: Skinny baby

My 6.5 month old is 16 lbs and 27 inches. Babies come in all sizes:) Is your baby gaining and growing? I wouldn't worry unless he stops gaining or loses weight. As long he is happy, health and...
  14. Re: Breastfeeding & solids - how much is too much?

I would nurse her on demand. If she doesn't wake on her own, you can drop the nightime feeding. Nurse first, then offer foods.

Re: About to Nurse again - I have some ??'s

I would wait unitl about 3-4 weeks before going back to introduce the bottle to avoid nipple confusion.

I agree w/ your plan about different bottles~you really never know what they'll takes best....

Re: Not pumping enough for daycare

Have you tried drinking extra water, eating oatmeal, mothers milk tea(or fenugreek)? These are things that can boost your supply.

Sticky: Re: Scalding breastmilk due to excessive Lipase

The scaleded milk is still easier to digest and has more benefits than formula.

I agree that you should not worry. It feels different every time. Weight gain and diapers are the best indicators.
