    Re: How to Increase Output

once she gets a bit more established you can predict a good time of day to pump and you'll start making more at that time like somebody else suggested.

My boys have been sleeping through the...

    Re: gaining.... too much????

One of my twins is on the same track as your big guy!

    He's 5 1/2 months and 21 lbs.

He and his brother were low birthweight, so I was instructed to feed him at least every 3 hours even if I...
  3. Re: Anyone else deal with a lactose intolerant baby?

The ped described it to me as sensitivity to cow's milk (I know I'm wrong I say intolerant sorry), but at the time, I was supplementing with formula (this guy was 4 lbs and a...
  4. Re: Anyone else deal with a lactose intolerant baby?

Oops sorry again, I didn't mean lactose intolerance...I've gotten so used to saying it I forgot!
  5. Re: Anyone else deal with a lactose intolerant baby?

That is my bad, I've gotten used to using the term "lactose intolerant" because it's easier to explain to my friends/family. I didn't even think before I posted it that technically it wasn't right....

    Re: No Dairy

I am on the same boat!

It's the difference of night/day with one of my twins.

I've never had to read labels before, but I've found it really helpful the ones that list in bold (after the...
  7. Anyone else deal with a lactose intolerant baby?

*before you read I meant "sensitive" not intolerant. Sorry. I got in the habit of using "intolerant" to explain it to others and forgot it technically isn't the correct term*

One of my twins had a...

    Re: Breast Shield not fitting?

Well no luck. I have the 21mms and they still are too big, but at least my nipples aren't hitting the back of the connnector. It still HURTS though, and half my boob is being sucked into the thing!!!

    Re: fenugreek Effect

I'm sure someone knows better, but I think it takes quite a while to kick in if it's going to work for you. I took a ton of it, for weeks on end, and it never seemed to do a thing except make my...

    Re: Breast Shield not fitting?

wow thanks. Looking at the pics I think I need a smaller one, not a bigger one.

The thing is so wide it is sucking half my aerola into it, so that is why my nipples hit the back of the connector....

    Re: Exercise and milk supply

Thanks! I was SO active before this pregnancy and I'd LOVE to get back in shape, but in the back of my mind I was thinking that the extra energy output would reduce supply...
  15. Re: please help..fussy,spit up, gassy....

I'm NO expert, but I've had practically the same problem with one of my twins. My ped's suggestion was that he was lactose intolerant and I had to cut out all milk, cheese, ice cream etc, etc from MY...

    Re: Medela Micro-Steam Bags

I have them and use them often, but (according to the directions) you still need to wash them in soapy water before putting them in the bag, it's just intended to be a sanitizer. One thing that I do...

    What constitutes "gassy foods?"

I have been BF my twins for 9 weeks and am still trying to get the hang of what foods cause reactions in my babies.
