Re: Pumping in the middle of the night.

Ahh- thank you SO much for your response! My baby doesn't wake up to feed at night either. I feel better about her big bottles now.

The past 2 nights we have stopped putting rice cereal in her...

Re: Pumping in the middle of the night.

My mom is with her today so I asked her to drop it down to 5.5oz this morning. We'll see if she lasts until the next feeding. Even half an ounce less each time will help me keep up!

Re: Pumping in the middle of the night.

I'm very grateful for everyone's responses. I am going to just suck it up and keep waking up to pump. I would like to BF as long as possible (my original goal was the end of the year (4 months...

Re: Pumping in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately I can't pump again at work. I am a teacher and I already pump during my planning period and also during my lunch break. Those are my only 2 breaks. I tried for a little while pumping...

Re: Pumping in the middle of the night.

We're doing the bottle at night for a few reasons. First we were giving her a bottle at night and then when we switched back to nursing she was still hungry after nursing. She would cry and cry...

Pumping in the middle of the night.

I've posted before on this but some things have changed since I last asked about pumping in the middle of the night.

My baby girl is almost 5 months old. I (almost) exclusively breastfeed. I...
  7. Breastfeeding loosing A LOT of weight.

I am 5'7" normally 105-110 lbs. I gained about 37-40 lbs with my little girl. I lost it all almost immediately...no joke, not exaggerating. I had a tiny belly for about 2 weeks just because my...

Re: Pumping less and less :-(

It would be easier to pump before I left for work right before 7am. Would doing that instead of a 3pm pump help also?

Re: Pumping less and less :-(

I pump about 15 minutes each time. I read that you should pump the same amount of time your baby nurses, and she eats between 10 and 15 minutes on each side. Yes I am pumping until it stops, unless...

Re: Pumping less and less :-(

I am a teacher. I already pump during my one planning period and I also pump at lunch. I have a 25/30 minute drive. I usually leave around 7:10a so I could try and pump about 6:50a. I will start...

    Pumping less and less :-(

This is my 3rd week back at work. I pump twice a day at 9:00am and 12:00pm. When I first came back I was getting 5 or 6 oz at each session. Now I'm lucky if I get 3. I don't know what is going on....

    Re: Bottle suggestion

Adiri Natural Nursers. You have to order them online but they worked SO well with our little girl. We introduced her to a bottle at 3 weeks and she never got mixed up between nursing and a bottle....

    Re: Working moms

We introduced a bottle at 3 weeks. We didn't want our baby to hate a bottle and not take it so we have been doing a bottle at bedtime. (The bottle is breastmilk. We don't use any formula). She has...
