Re: Issue with wanting to breastfeed

    Re: Please Help...Really Struggling

at 12 months, you could introduce a cup or sippy cup. You are wanting to wean, but are you interested in pumping at all and giving him bm that way? or do you just want the milk to dry up? Good luck.

  7. Re: Anything to do with Postpartum Depression?

I'm glad that you were able to find support here. I hope that you enjoy the out-of-doors. Your last post sounded a lot more upbeat. :gvibes
  8. Re: Anything to do with Postpartum Depression?

maybe look into one of the side co-sleepers. that might alleviate some of your and DH's fears. Did you feel this way when pregnant? Does your husband know what is going on? He sounds like a caring...
  9. Re: Anything to do with Postpartum Depression?

When my four year old would come back from visiting her dad, I did not like her. She seemed to be a little clone of her dad and his wife, and it pissed me off. I knew she could tell that I was...

  12. Re: nursing making me feel HORRIBLE. I think its time. HELP.

wow, great job nursing this far. I just wanted to tell you that. I have no advice, just that if you want to stop, then don't feel badly about it. I agree with pp to get daddy involved in bedtimes....

  15. Re: Had some success today doing it "wrong"

I would say that if its not causing you pain, then he's latching correctly. But this is me. I nursed without needing help. The latch is not supposed to hurt generally. I'm glad that you feel more...

    Re: Pacifiers

so no one who has read this new information knows the reason why it is recommended to prevent SIDS with a pacifier. Wouldn't it be interesting to know how they came up with this?

    Re: Pacifiers

Do they say why they think this? or are they just going to expect people to take their word for it? I hate that. I'd like at least a reason sometimes.
