    Re: Lansinoh bags spoiling milk!!!!

So I attempted scalding 5oz of EBM yesterday in my bottle warmer. I don't know how it went. I had to do two cycles of warming to get the BM to 150 degrees. After it cooled a bit, it smelled a little...

    Re: Lansinoh bags spoiling milk!!!!

I was just reading through that thread.

Does anyone use the bottle warmer method still? I have that at home and that would be so much easier than a pot and pan!

    Re: Lansinoh bags spoiling milk!!!!

She does not like it when it tastes like that, she refuses it at daycare, so unfortunatly it does cause a problem.....I think it also flares up her reflux as well.

    So, question about scalding. If...

    Re: Lansinoh bags spoiling milk!!!!

Yeah, a possible chemical reaction is my thinking. Although, I thought that all these bags were made from basically the same material....but probably different ratios.

    Lansinoh bags spoiling milk!!!!

I store my pujmped milk into the Lansinoh bags as well as the playtex drop-ins. I have found that 8 out of 10 of the Lansinoh bagged milk is spoiled....it smells like vomit and tastes like vomit. But...

    Re: Very Painful Letdown

Hum, a read somewhere that this pain I am feeling is associated with the milk ducts squeezing the milk through. I am starting to think that mine are "sensitive" and after a long day of producing milk...
  8. Re: Baby screaming in afternoons-milk intolerance?

Also, what about reflux or silent reflux? The waking up crying after laying down screams silent reflux. She is spitting up or vomiting at all?

    Re: Very Painful Letdown

Anyone else have any input. The stabbing pain seems to happen mostly late in the day....like it JUST happened and I had to breath deeply to get through it.

    Re: Very Painful Letdown

It lasted 6 months with my first one but was not as bad but still painful. My supply was a LOT more too, I could pumped 6oz out of each breast at each feeding.

My current daughter is almost 9...

The PP response is perfect. I second it.
  14. Re: Has anyone had let-down problems due to stress?

I am so sorry that this is happening to you. I experienced this with my first one and the stress from stressing about it made it worse.

Deep breaths helped, warm baths may help.....

    Very Painful Letdown

I know that people say or books say that one's letdown is supposed to tingle. Well, with my previous daughter and this one it has always been more like pins and needles...not comfortable at all but...

    Re: Left Breast tastes bad?

I found somewhere that you should taste the milk from each breast to see if it tastes different. I did that and they taste the same to me....so I do not think at the moment it is a taste thing.

    Left Breast tastes bad?

I have been on a long road of figuring out why my DD2 is having a harder time with her reflux than my DD1. I have been monitoring it and am now on no caffeine or dairy to see if that is the problem....

    Re: Let-down/reflux/abundant supply
