  1. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

Thank you. My second pump of the workday was more like 3/4oz on the right and 2oz on the left.

It's nice to know I'm not alone with this. It helps me to stress a tiny bit less.
  2. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

So, I am working an extra pumping session into my day. And my little guy is nursing a lot, so that makes me happy. (Isn't it funny how most Moms may be upset if their little one gets up several...
  3. Re: Pumping volume continuing to drop, especially one side

Thanks. It's ok. I really don't mind, as long as I get results from increased pumping (which I'm sure I will). Breastfeeding is so incredibly important to me. I'm willing to do whatever I have to...
  4. Re: Pumping volume continuing to drop, especially one side

    Thank you.

I've been trying to add a pumping session before I go to bed, but I'm usually so tired that I don't always manage. Maybe I need to set an alarm on my phone and make myself do it. I...
  5. Pumping volume continuing to drop, especially one side

Hi everyone! I got some great advice in the 3-12 month forum, but I'm still struggling with keeping my supply of what I pump up, so I'm looking for any advice.

My son is just over 5 months old. ...
  6. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate all the advice.

I think I'll post in the pumping forum, also, since this seems to be primarily a pumping issue. I'm always open to any advice that I may have...
  7. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

    I don't have a hands-free bra. I don't know how, but I've only recently learned about them!

However, I've gotten really good at balancing the bottles on my thighs, so I can still function. ...
  8. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

Thanks for the support and encouragement.

I do have a few time-wasters that I do when I pump, to try to turn it into a treat for me. And, I definitely have to relax in order to get that letdown. ...
  9. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

    Thanks.

I don't think I can pull off a 4th pumping session during my workday. I pump for 20-30 minutes each time. With my first child, she slept through the night very early (6 weeks), so I...
  10. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

    Thank you for the advice.

I definitely need to try to work in another pumping session somehow. And, I've been upping my oatmeal intake.

Now, I'm just honestly very concerned about my supply. ...
  11. Re: Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please

I have a Medela Pump in Style Advanced. It was new when I got it. When my supply started dropping, I got new membranes for it (which seemed to help a little). I think the horns are the right size?...
  12. Low supply on one side despite increased nursing~please help

    Hi!

I have a 5-month old exclusively breastfed that is healthy and doing well. I work (too much) and pump and in the past 2 months have struggled with keeping my supply up. I have been taking...
