Relax. Relax. Stress is the enemy and stressing about not pumping 'enough' is a slippery slope.
It [lower pumping output] is a common thing that can happen after a established routine is 'solid'. See this page for some info you might not have in your barin stores ;)
(BTW this is Eme - :hello)
ETA - apparently brain is also a word I can't spell... :o :eye (barin should read: brain)
Just had another thought while pumping myself...
Are you using the same pump you had with K? Could the motor be wearing out?
so you have gotten 14.5 ounces out today? Maybe you got more out now because you only got 2 ounces out last time?
When I dropped from three pumping sessions to two I was still getting the same amount out for the day, which was surprising to me. But I'm not sure that would have kept up or if it would have dwindled further. I stopped pumping when I got four ounces out each time.
I would be hesitant to cut out a pumping session. Or would you still be able to fit 3 in waiting longer during the day?
I nurse Lu at 5:30/5:45a then pump at 9am when I get to work, then another session at 12:30 and then another at 4 before I leave at 4:30. If I went to 4 hours between each session, I'd only be doing two sessions before I had to leave to make my train. I nurse her as soon as I get home at 5:30p.
sent u an email :D
