Advice on weening son from his "noonie"
I have been breast feeding my 2 year old since birth and I think that I am ready to start trying to ween him. It is so difficult because I feel guilty taking away not only something that he is very attached to but something that is also very good for him. I've heard that there are ways to "dry up" your milk supply, but I'm not sure if that's the way I want to go(or even if it's true). I don't know how it would affect him if it were gone all of a sudden. But, then again, he may deal with it better in the sense that he "drank it all gone" than with it being withheld when he knows it's still available. I just don't know anyone in my circle of friends or family that has breast fed for this period of time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

There really is no way to dry up milk overnight. And if there was, I bet it would be very uncomfortable. :(
