Has anyone ever tried the supplemental nursing system?
My LLL called today and suggested trying the supplemental nursing system while breastfeeding to help with the nipple confusion that my daughter has been experiencing.
Has anyone ever tried this? Is there anything else I could try before trying this?
Thank you for your suggestions.
Re: Has anyone ever tried the supplemental nursing system?
Did you try more skin to skin contact? What about waiting until bb is sleepy? I can sometimes wait until Willie is asleep and nudge a boobie in. How did the bath/rooting trick work for you? Do you have a baby sling? Check that video link out I gave you for bottle feeding0- it makes the baby work for the milk and will prolly help reduce the resistance to breast feeding.
I have never used a sns, but i think it is wayyyyyyy better than a bottle in all cases! DON'T GIVE UP YET!!
