I wondered if there is a resource anyone knows of that tells approx. how many ounces or calories from solid food and/or breastmilk a baby needs in the 12-24 month stage??
My baby nurses on demand, at least 4 times a day, and plenty over night too (I think this is more for comfort but she must get some calories from it too) and eats solids 3 times a day but still not very much. She has grown in height but did not gain a pound from 9-12 months. She only poops about 2-3 times a week. I'm just wondering if all this is normal and what I should expect to change over this year, should I be encouraging more solids? I have no way to really gauge how many ounces of breastmilk she takes in.
