Re: how to balance pumping and employment...? is it worth it
I will add that using a hospital grade pump, which I rent, makes my pump sessions go fast. That's not why I rented it - with my PISA I wasn't getting enough expressed milk to feed my baby during my work day. But speed is an added benefit to using the Medela symphony. When I first started pumping at work between set up, pump, milk store and put away I was slow. I've gotten way more efficient with practice. One trick I learned from this Forum - instead of cleaning the pump parts each time put them in a bag in the fridge right after you're done w/a pump session. Then you don't have to clean till you get home at night.
