15 mos and nursing every hour after getting vaccine
Yet another reason we are glad to "still" be breastfeeding. DD got two vaccines (shots) yesterday and has been really clingy all day today and wanting to nurse almost every hour.
I'm glad we scheduled her appt on Friday so I can be available for her all day today. I stopped pumping at 12 mos and freezer supply is gone, so I'm not sure how DH would do with her if I weren't here. He's a stay at home dad.
Just posting this in case there are moms debating about going past 12months. I stopped at 13 mos with my DS years ago and plan to continue breastfeeding my DD for a bit longer.
Plus to sharer the suggestion to other working moms to schedule dr appt on Fridays, since the side effects of vaccines usually start the next day, in my experience.
