I am in the process of weaning my 24-month-old. He loves his "tangies" (short for 'hu-tangs'), but I'm ready to be done. We'd gone three days without nursing (Oh! the nights have been horrible). Nevertheless, on the forth night I was tired and let him nurse just so I can get some sleep. My son suckled for a minute, snapped off, and while tapping the other breast, announced, "Tangies broken!" :wub He nursed on the the other side and got some milk. He snapped off, announced "Milk! Milk!" and pointed to the evidence. ... Gosh I love his wonderful observations! I love nursing him, but I am just too tired to continue! :run
