La Leche League Mother-to-Mother Forums FAQ

La Leche League is a non-profit, non-sectarian mother-to-mother breastfeeding support organization. La Leche League can be found in many countries all over the world. To learn more, visit the La Leche League International Web site section that describes our organization.

La Leche League Groups meet around the world. Our Leaders, volunteer breastfeeding counselors accredited though La Leche League International, are happy to help mothers with breastfeeding and parenting questions. They are just a telephone call away. Our meetings are also great ways to meet other breastfeeding mothers and get many suggestions. Some Groups are open to both mothers and fathers, too. To find a local Group or Leader, visit our listing of Groups around the world.

To get help online, you can fill out a Breastfeeding Help Form to get an email response from a Leader within a few days. You can also visit the La Leche League online chats which are hosted by accredited La Leche League Leaders, during any scheduled chat time.

However, if you wish to represent La Leche League or act in an official Leader capacity, we ask that you create a LLLID Alias that starts with "lll" (just as our online chat Leaders have special LLL-names to identify their status). This will help forum members know that information is coming from an LLL representative.
